Battlefield 6’s Season 1 brings three new multiplayer maps to the game: two large, completely new locations and a refreshed version of an existing one. You’ll also have more vehicles at your disposal, including a fun addition – a golf cart! This guide details all the new maps and vehicles available in Season 1.
Just so you know, all the new maps and vehicles included with Season 1 won’t be available right away. The developers are releasing the content in three parts. It begins with the Rogue Ops update, which is available now on all platforms. The California Resistance update comes out on November 18th, and the Winter Offensive will be released on December 9th.
You can find a preview of all three maps below. We’ve also detailed all the new weapons and attachments coming in Battlefield 6 Season 1 here.
Rogue Ops – Blackwell Fields

The first season starts with the Rogue Ops update, bringing a new map called Blackwell Fields. This large map is set in a sprawling California oil field and features wide-open spaces perfect for sniper battles and long-distance fighting. Players can use oil wells, construction machinery, and other objects as cover.
Blackwell Fields offers a variety of vehicles you’d expect, like helicopters, planes, and tanks. It also debuts the first new vehicle of the season: the APC Traverser Mark 2. This new land vehicle is armored and can carry four people – a driver, a gunner on top, and two passengers in the back who can also operate guns from the sides.
California Resistance – Eastwood

The next stage of California Resistance, launching in November, moves the conflict to the suburbs with the “Eastwood” map. Players will battle as Pax Armata attacks a Southern California town, fighting through residential areas – including backyards and a golf course. Houses will offer cover for close combat, while the golf course will allow for longer-range firefights.
Also, Clint Eastwood is bringing golf carts to the game! When the update releases in November, you’ll be able to drive these carts around the map and pull off some fun and unexpected moves during battles.
Winter Offensive – Ice Lock Empire State

The last part of Battlefield 6’s first season focuses on the winter holidays. As part of this seasonal update, the Empire State map receives a winter makeover – it’s covered in snow and ice, changing the look of the New York map.
As of now, a new vehicle has not been announced for the Winter Offensive update.
