Battlefield 6 Launch Trailer Features Crashing Helicopters, Tanks, And Loud Butt Rock

Battlefield 6 is almost here, and EA is building excitement with not one, but two trailers! The latest video is packed with action, showing off huge explosions, vehicles crashing, and even a soldier using a sledgehammer as a weapon.

The new trailer for Battlefield 6 focuses on the game’s massive battles, showcasing explosions, air fights, and tanks. The trailer is set to a cover of Limp Bizkit’s “Break Stuff,” with the line “give me something to break” repeated throughout. It also cleverly combines snippets of reviews from the press with reactions from popular online streamers. Notably, streamer TimTheTatman is featured prominently, which is amusing given that he previously had a character bundle in Call of Duty.

Battlefield 6 will launch with a large day-one update featuring over 200 improvements and fixes. Battlefield Studios also suggested in a recent post that they may add naval combat to the game sometime in the future.

This week, the developers of the new Battlefield game shared some player feedback regarding weapon choices. Players seem to prefer having access to any weapon they find, regardless of their chosen class. This is a departure from previous Battlefield games, which limited players to weapons specific to their class.

This is a big week for fans of the Battlefield series. Experts predict the new game, Battlefield 6, could sell 5 million copies within its first week of release. The game launches this Friday, October 10th, on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Meanwhile, the company behind Battlefield, Electronic Arts (EA), was recently acquired for $55 billion by a group of investors, including Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund and Jared Kushner’s Affinity Partners.
