Okay, awesome news for all of us Battlefield fans! Battlefield 6 is getting a free trial over Thanksgiving week in the US. From November 25th to December 2nd, we’ll get to jump in and check out a bit of the full game. They’re letting us try out five different modes and three maps – they haven’t said which maps yet, but still, it’s a great way to see if the game is for us!
The free trial will be available across all platforms: PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Today, Battlefield Studios released both a free trial and a new update for Battlefield 6 called “California Resistance.” The update includes a new map, Eastwood, and a quick-action, limited-time event called Sabotage.
On November 18th, we launched a new Gauntlet mission in Redsec’s battle royale mode. We also added Prepper Stashes – hidden caches of items – all around the Fort Lyndon map.
Battlefield 6’s Season 1 continues on December 9th with the ‘Winter Offensive’ update, which will bring new, winter-themed content to the game.
You can find complete details about the latest Battlefield 6 update – including a significant adjustment to aim-assist – in the full California Resistance patch notes. Since launching in October, Battlefield 6 has sold over 10 million copies, and its parent company, EA, is currently being acquired for $55 billion.
