Battlefield 6 actually wants you to delete the campaign after you finish it

Players who finish the single-player story in Battlefield 6 are now being asked to delete the campaign files to save space on their devices.

Once you’ve completed the main story – all nine missions and the ending credits – the game will ask if you want to remove the story content, allowing you to free up space.

Battlefield 6’s single-player campaign takes up about 15 gigabytes of storage space, though installing the high-definition texture pack will increase that requirement. The exact file size can change slightly depending on which platform you’re playing on.

Players are really appreciating that game developers are now offering ways to reduce the amount of hard drive space their games take up, especially for large, high-budget titles. With games getting bigger and bigger, this has been a popular move with fans.

Battlefield 6 players welcome convenience

A tweet from October 11th highlighted a new feature that lets users easily uninstall the app, and it quickly became popular. Many people responded positively, calling the feature convenient and thoughtful, with some even using stronger language to express their approval.

LMFAO WHEN YOU FINISH THE BF6 CAMPAIGN IT REPLACES THE BUTTON WITH AN UNINSTALL BUTTON

Honestly, I get why they’re doing this. Single-player campaigns aren’t usually the main reason people play competitive shooters anyway. Plus, game sizes are getting ridiculous! It’s kinda crazy that the storage space in the new consoles hasn’t kept up – we’re always running out of room!

Battlefield 6 requires a significant amount of storage space, around 70 GB, though it’s not quite as large as the massive 100 GB+ install size needed for the entire Call of Duty collection, including Warzone and Zombies.
