Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord continues to get updates! TaleWorlds Entertainment recently launched patch 1.3, which included a new stealth system, better AI, and was initially available as an experimental version. Bannerlord’s War Sails on Game Pass? There are chances
If you check the War Sails page on the Xbox store, you’ll notice the game isn’t included with Game Pass. Currently, a Game Pass subscription only gives you access to the base version of Bannerlord. This is pretty common, as most games on Game Pass don’t include downloadable content or expansions.
Things might change down the line, though. The developers haven’t ruled out the possibility of adding downloadable content (DLC) for the game on Xbox, according to their Steam FAQ.
The game won’t be available on Xbox Game Pass when it first launches, and it’s currently unknown if it will be added at a later date.
There’s no certainty that War Sails will come to Game Pass. It likely depends on what TaleWorlds Entertainment decides when their current agreement with Microsoft expires. At that point, we’ll find out if the Bannerlord game, along with the War Sails DLC, will remain available through the subscription service, or if it will be removed.
Right now, you’ll need to be patient and wait for our next update. If you’d like to play War Sails immediately, it’s available for purchase on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC – and it doesn’t require a powerful computer to run!
