Bandai Namco and Rebel Wolves released a special video celebrating the upcoming launch of their story-rich action RPG, The Blood of Dawnwalker. We’ve also released new screenshots and artwork for the game, which you can view in the gallery below.
Blood of Dawnwalker will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (via Steam) in 2026. If you haven’t seen it yet, a 28-minute gameplay video was released last November.
To celebrate January’s full moon – often called the Wolf Moon – Rebel Wolves and Bandai Namco Entertainment have released a new video offering players a sneak peek at their upcoming game, scheduled to launch in 2026 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Okay, so the new teaser dropped and I’m hyped! It gives us a first look at some characters who seem super important to the story. We also got to see parts of Vale Sangora, which is this really cool, mysterious region in the Carpathian Mountains. Apparently, it’s packed with secrets we’ll get to uncover. And the best part? This footage is all actual gameplay from the current PC beta, so it’s not just a fancy cutscene!
Rebel Wolves shared a new teaser and the official cover art for their game, featuring the main character, Coen. He’s a Dawnwalker, tragically bound to live as a human during the day and a vampire at night. The cover shows him during a solar eclipse, hinting at how important the sun and moon are to the world and story of The Blood of Dawnwalker.
Rebel Wolves revealed the main musical theme for their game, The Blood of Dawnwalker, sharing footage from the studio recording. The music was created by lead composer Nikola Kołodziejczyk and played by the AUKSO Chamber Orchestra of Tychy.
According to Nikola Kołodziejczyk, lead composer at Rebel Wolves, the game’s music is deeply rooted in the sounds and instruments of 14th-century Eastern Europe, specifically the area around the Carpathian Mountains. The team aimed for historical accuracy and wanted to create a score that felt authentic to the period and its culture.
To celebrate the Wolf Moon and the new year, the developers of Blood of Dawnwalker released a video reflecting on the past year. It highlights everything from the game’s initial reveal and detailed gameplay showcase, to their appearances at major gaming events. Rebel Wolves is grateful for the community’s support and feedback and promises to share more updates soon.
Bandai Namco Entertainment is publishing Blood of Dawnwalker, a new game being created with Unreal Engine 5. It’s coming to PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S later this year, and you can add it to your wishlist now. Visit dawnwalkergame.com for more information.
