A rumor is circulating about the next *Avengers* movie, tentatively titled *Doomsday*, and it suggests Tom Holland will definitely be involved, likely confirming Spider-Man’s appearance.
What is the latest Avengers: Doomsday rumor?
A recent report from industry insider Daniel Richtman suggests Tom Holland’s Spider-Man won’t be in the upcoming movie, *Avengers: Doomsday*. While Richtman says Holland is expected to have a major part in the next *Avengers* film, *Avengers: Secret Wars*, he isn’t currently planned to appear in *Doomsday*.
Despite recent news, Spider-Man might still appear in the movie. There’s been a lot of talk that either Tobey Maguire or Andrew Garfield could reprise their roles as Peter Parker.
Currently, we don’t have much confirmed information about their role in the movie – most of what’s out there is just speculation. However, one recent report suggests Tom Holland won’t be appearing as Doomsday. That said, Marvel could still surprise us before the film comes out on December 18, 2026.
I’m so hyped for the new Avengers movie, *Doomsday*! The cast list is absolutely insane. We’re definitely getting some of our favorite heroes back – Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby as the Invisible Woman, Anthony Mackie as Captain America, Sebastian Stan as Winter Soldier, Letitia Wright as Shuri/Black Panther, and even Paul Rudd as Ant-Man! It’s going to be epic!
As a huge cinema fan, I’m getting so excited about the cast list for the next movie! We’re going to see Wyatt Russell back as U.S. Agent/John Walker, and Tenoch Huerta will be playing Namor. Ebon Moss-Bachrach is taking on The Thing/Ben Grimm, and Simu Liu will reprise his role as Shang-Chi. Florence Pugh is returning as Yelena Belova, and it’s great to see Kelsey Grammer as Dr. Hank McCoy/Beast again. Lewis Pullman is joining as Bob/Sentry, and Danny Ramirez will be Joaquin Torres/Falcon. Joseph Quinn is set to play Johnny Storm/Human Torch, and David Harbour will be back as Alexei Shostakov/Red Guardian. Plus, Winston Duke as M’Baku and Hannah John-Kamen as Ava Starr/Ghost are returning, and of course, Tom Hiddleston will be back as Loki! It’s shaping up to be an epic!
The next X-Men movie will feature the return of several familiar faces, including Patrick Stewart as Charles Xavier, Ian McKellen as Magneto, Alan Cumming as Nightcrawler, Rebecca Romijn as Mystique, James Marsden as Cyclops, and Channing Tatum as Gambit.
