When is the rumored release date for the Avengers: Doomsday trailer?
The first full trailer for Avengers: Doomsday is expected to debut on Super Bowl Sunday, a major event for movie trailer releases. Super Bowl LX is set to take place on February 8, 2026.
“It will be a massive event,” TrailerTrack wrote in the caption.
Marvel has started sharing clips from the upcoming movie, Avengers: Doomsday. A short teaser trailer revealed that Chris Evans will reprise his role as Steve Rogers. The footage showed Evans riding a motorcycle to Peggy Carter’s home, looking at his Captain America suit, and holding a baby. This teaser first appeared before showings of the film Avatar: Fire and Ash. Marvel then officially shared the teaser on its social media accounts last week.
The latest preview for the new Thor movie, like the first one, will play before showings of Avatar: Fire and Ash. This preview shows Chris Hemsworth as Thor, praying to Odin and getting ready for a fight. It also features a glimpse of Thor with his adopted daughter, Love. Marvel hasn’t shared the trailer on their official social media accounts yet.
The latest trailer seems to confirm the return of three classic X-Men: Patrick Stewart will reprise his role as Professor X, Ian McKellen as Magneto, and James Marsden as Cyclops.
A fourth teaser trailer is reportedly planned to follow the one for the X-Men, but it’s currently unknown who will appear in it.
The Russo brothers are set to direct the upcoming film, Avengers: Doomsday. This marks their return to directing a Marvel movie since 2019’s Avengers: Endgame, which earned $2.8 billion and remains one of the highest-grossing films ever made.
Marvel has two big movies planned for next year. Spider-Man: Brand New Day, starring Tom Holland, will be released on July 31, 2026, followed by Avengers: Doomsday on December 18, 2026.
