After five weeks in theaters, ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’ is expected to be overtaken by Chris Pratt’s new science fiction thriller.

Chris Pratt’s new thriller, Mercy, is expected to beat Avatar: Fire and Ash at the box office this weekend, according to Variety. While Avatar is predicted to make $8 to $10 million, Mercy is forecast to earn $10 to $14 million, giving it a slight edge for the top spot.
