As interest in the sequel grows – particularly during the week of December 1st to 7th, 2025 – the original Troll 2 movie is also seeing a boost in popularity on the streaming platform.

Marcus started the season suspended after being caught drinking while working. He defended his actions to his brother, Aaron, saying everyone does it, but that’s clearly not true – many jobs require sobriety, like those in healthcare, transportation, education, or dealing with finances. His friend Shayne doesn’t drink on the job, mostly because he doesn’t seem to have a job. While Andy Cohen might have a drink at the end of a TV reunion, it’s definitely not how he starts. Another cast member, Venus, pointed out that Marcus’s drinking seems less like a common habit and more like a sign of a larger problem.

Viewers need to quickly understand why a character is feeling a certain way, because that consistency makes the story and its humor feel genuine. Sitcoms often rely on having characters who represent both ends of the spectrum: some are relatable and grounded in realistic emotions and struggles, while others are exaggerated and comical for laughs. This contrast is key to a successful show.
