The next season of the popular Netflix romance will focus on the story of Benedict (Luke Thompson) and Sophie (Yerin Ha). It’s based on Julia Quinn’s novel, An Offer From a Gentleman, the third book in the Bridgerton series, and features a storyline similar to Cinderella. According to Jess Brownell, the showrunner, writer, and producer, adapting this book to the screen has been surprisingly straightforward, as she recently shared with EW.
