But at least Todd Howard is now openly talking about it without avoiding the question of how long it’s been in development. His recent comments offer a small glimpse into the game’s design, and while it’s not much, it’s good to get any update at all.
Speaking as a producer, Norton explained that the film aims to capture the spirit of classic dramas like The Godfather and Gangs of New York – movies that are both exciting and thought-provoking, while also exploring the darker side of American history. While the plot hasn’t been officially revealed, the film’s title suggests it’s set in Puerto Rico between 1898 and 1932. This period is significant because the island’s name was changed from Porto Rico to Puerto Rico in 1932, originally altered to the English spelling in 1898 due to concerns that American audiences couldn’t pronounce the Spanish diphthong. According to Variety, the film is based on real events, meaning fans could potentially piece together the entire story simply by researching Puerto Rican history during those years.
The new season promises plenty of drama! Brittany is moving on from Jax completely, even reversing the cosmetic surgeries he pressured her into getting. We’ll also see Jasmine and Melissa’s wedding, and the challenges Nia Sanchez and Kristen Doute are facing as new parents – apparently, both couples are struggling with intimacy, with the husbands openly complaining about a lack of sex. Oh, and Zack Wickham somehow manages to hit his head on a streetlight while riding a party bus! As Scheana Marie famously said, “It’s all happening,” and it all kicks off April 1st – which feels fitting, considering this cast is known for its antics.
Shawn Ryan’s The Night Agent is known for constantly adding new twists, villains, helpers, and secrets with each season, which means a lot of new characters. Season 3 will feature returning favorites like Peter Basso, Chelsea Arrington played by Fola Evans-Akingbola, Catherine Weaver with Amanda Warren, and the newly elected president Richard Hagan (Ward Horton). The new season also introduces several fresh faces, including the president’s wife, a helpful new friend for Peter, a brilliant but troubled individual, and a dangerous assassin, among others.

However, Soderbergh revealed the project ultimately stalled because Disney executives didn’t believe Ben Solo could have survived.
