James D’Amato and Dillin Apelyan, hosts of the One Shot podcast, are sharing their expertise to help RPG players and game masters create truly memorable games. Their new book, The Ultimate RPG Villain Backstory Guide, published by Simon & Schuster on March 10th, provides the tools to develop fascinating villains – complex antiheroes and terrifying bad guys – whose stories will stay with players long after the game ends.

The video features Nam and his fellow cast members playing exaggerated versions of themselves. Nam plays a character called “Eric the Vengeful,” while Rausch, known as “Robby Bobby,” is holding the other players captive on his ranch and making them do hard labor – but still look fashionable! The Wild West theme is a fun change after weeks of filming in muddy Scotland, and Higgins, or “Maura the Velvet Blade,” looks surprisingly different in a denim outfit reminiscent of Alyssa Milano in the early 2000s. Nam jokes that riding a horse reminded him of when he pretended to be a cow during a painting challenge, and he wondered how he could continue that storyline. Eventually, the players manage to tie up Rausch, symbolically removing his overalls – a moment Nam compares to Jo cutting her hair in Little Women – but his friend, Funches, arrives to rescue him. Funches had previously posted a video openly rooting for Rausch and against the other players.

Jeff Sneider from TheInsider reports that Ben Kingsley has joined the cast of Sonic the Hedgehog 4, scheduled for release on March 19, 2027. The acclaimed actor, recently known for his role as Trevor Slattery in the Wonder Man series, will play a significant part in the new film. While his specific character hasn’t been revealed, Kingsley joins a cast that includes Ben Schwartz as Sonic and Kristen Bell as Amy Rose. Idris Elba and Colleen O’Shaughnessey are also likely to reprise their roles as Knuckles and Tails.
