The Berlin International Film Festival, known as the Berlinale, takes place February 12–22 and is a major event in the film world. While not as highly regarded as festivals like Cannes or Venice, the Berlinale sometimes showcases films that go on to win awards – like If I Had Legs I’d Kick You last year. This year’s festival has had a mixed reception, with some promising films like Mouse from indie filmmakers Kelly O’Sullivan and Alex Thompson, alongside a few disappointments, including the heavily promoted Rosebush Pruning. There’s also a new film featuring Amy Adams, offering her a chance to return to leading roles.

Prime Video has announced the release plan for Invincible Season 4, sharing a new poster featuring Mark Grayson. Like last season, the first three episodes will be released all at once on March 18th.

Spider-Man has faced off against a variety of villains, including the Green Goblin, Doc Ock, Electro, Sandman, and the Lizard, among others. The Lizard has appeared in live-action films twice: once in The Amazing Spider-Man against Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man, and more recently in 2021’s Spider-Man: No Way Home. Although it’s uncertain if the character will return in future Marvel Cinematic Universe Spider-Man films, the Lizard continues to be featured in animated projects.

Marvel Studios is finishing up work on Avengers: Doomsday, directed by Joe and Anthony Russo. The film is planned to be released later this year, and a sequel, Avengers: Secret Wars, is expected to come out in 2027.

The zombie series now includes four movies, and it made a comeback in 2025 with 28 Years Later. While Murphy wasn’t involved in the second and third films, he officially joined the series with the revival. Despite a disappointing performance in cinemas, 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple quickly became the third most popular title on the Apple TV store, according to FlixPatrol.
