NIS America shares launch trailer for Cladun X3

The pixel-art RPG Cladun X3 came out in Japan earlier this year on consoles, and now it’s available in the West with the addition of a PC version on Steam. You can find the official English website here, and I’ve written a feature about the game’s PC port and how it plays on handheld devices here.

Crypto Chaos: Ether, Circle, Aster’s Wild Ride!

As the leading smart contract blockchain, Ethereum’s native Ether (ETH) token could be set to benefit from “Wall Street running into the blockchain,” according to BitMine, the largest corporate holder of ETH. 🏦💥

The F2P Navigator: Navigating the Seas of Honkai with Prudence

The most important thing you’ll gather in this game is also the easiest to waste: crystals. It’s tempting to spend them immediately, like a quick reward, but smart players know crystals need to be saved for the right moments. A good rule of thumb is to avoid pulling on every new banner you see – be patient and spend wisely.

The Beat of Advancement: Forming Steady Routines in Honkai

As a player, I really like the idea of a quick daily routine that doesn’t feel like a chore, especially when life gets busy. It’s all about smartly getting rid of tasks, but the cool part is these tasks are things you’d likely be doing anyway! When you first start, definitely log in each day and knock these out – they give you important stuff to level up your characters. And seriously, don’t hold onto your energy! Using it is key to making progress. Grind for resources, push through the story, but make sure you’re doing *something* every day to make your team stronger, even if it’s just a little bit.

Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 2 Is Still Coming, But What’s In It?

At the Tokyo Game Show, a Metal Gear Solid producer, Noriaki Okamura, responded to a question about a potential second volume of the MGS Master Collection. According to a fan translation shared by X user Kuwabara357 (and reported by Video Games Chronicle), work on Volume 2 is happening, but the team isn’t ready to announce any details.

The Morning Show, You’re Killing Me With This Iran Story Line

Though *The Morning Show* focuses on news and the people who deliver it, the show isn’t concerned with being realistic. Over its first three seasons, current events were consistently exaggerated for dramatic or comedic effect. Mitch Kessler, the disgraced former host, constantly plotted a comeback before his dramatic exit, while Bradley Jackson unexpectedly encountered her brother during the January 6th Capitol riot and then covered up his involvement. Even the show’s visual metaphors were heavy-handed – a spaceship belonging to the villainous Paul Marks was overtly phallic, mirroring his personality. It’s hard to take the show seriously, but even compared to its usual over-the-top approach, the fourth season’s storyline centered around Iran feels particularly problematic. It’s a xenophobic and tasteless plot that makes previous outlandish moments seem subtle by comparison.

The Androids of the Alien-verse, Ranked by Their Humanity

The new show *Alien: Earth* tackles huge philosophical questions – like what it means to be human. Inspired by the classic film series, it doesn’t shy away from asking whether we should recognize the intelligence and even the suffering of artificial beings that can think, feel, and dream, even if they’re as strange as organic sheep possessed by tentacled eyeballs.
