We’re still captivated by these undead creatures, and filmmakers keep reimagining them to reflect what scares us now. Even after decades, zombies continue to entertain, frighten, and sometimes make us laugh.

This new strategy also shifts the feel of the first live-action Batman movie. Instead of having to introduce Batman and his methods to the world all at once, James Gunn can build on what’s already been established.
