Popular Twitch streamer and political commentator Hasan Piker is facing criticism after a sound from his dog – a mix of Tibetan Mastiff, Chow Chow, and St. Bernard – was heard during a livestream on October 7th, sparking a viral controversy.
Discord announced that a security breach at one of its service providers, 5CA, may have exposed the government-issued IDs of around 70,000 users. Discord hired 5CA to verify users’ ages. The company assures users that the breach didn’t affect any messages beyond those exchanged with Discord’s support and safety teams.

PeckShield, that vigilant gossip of the blockchain, reports that the attacker targeted 17.75 million DAI and 3.11 million SyrupUSDC, a syrupy stand‑in for USDC used within Hyperdrive, and then spirited the loot to Ethereum. Oh, the elegance of audacity! 😂
When you install the game on Steam, everything downloads automatically. But on consoles, you can choose which parts to install – like the single-player story, multiplayer mode, and high-resolution textures. Removing these optional parts isn’t obvious; the option is buried in the menus. The game *does* tell you after completing the story campaign that you can uninstall it, and provides a clear button to do so, but this isn’t communicated for other components upfront.
The game’s development was difficult. It began as part of a metaverse project that didn’t succeed, and several key leaders left the team just before the game was released.
Long wait times to get into the game were expected with such a big launch. However, many players are frustrated by not being able to start *Battlefield 6* at all, especially since over half a million people are already trying to play on Steam. If you’re having trouble, it’s worth trying some simple fixes first. Try restarting Steam and your computer, updating your graphics drivers, and verifying the game files. You can do this by right-clicking on *Battlefield 6* in your Steam Library, going to Properties, then Installed Files, and selecting ‘Verify integrity of game files’.
The story quickly establishes Linda’s hectic and financially strained life. Things come to a head when her apartment ceiling collapses, causing a flood, likely from a broken pipe. With her husband away on business, Linda and her young daughter, who requires nightly tube feeding, are forced to move to a cheap motel while repairs are made.
A new photo posted to Peck’s Instagram marks the end of filming. In a lengthy caption, he thanked the film’s cast and crew. He also expressed his excitement for fans to see the movie and gave a close-up look at his character, including Vega’s distinctive snake tattoo which covers his body.
The crossover fighting game *Ys vs. Trails in the Sky: Alternative Saga*, originally a Japan-only release for the PlayStation Portable in 2010, is now available on today’s consoles and PCs.
