Xbox May Be Dying, But Consoles Games Are Alive And Well, Says Analyst

According to the Alinea Insight newsletter by Rhys Elliott, the top-selling PlayStation 5 games projected for October 2025 are Battlefield 6, EA Sports FC 26, and Ghost of Yotei, with estimated sales of 3.2 million, 3 million, and 2.7 million units, respectively. These three titles are expected to sell almost 9 million copies combined. Elliott used these figures to counter the idea that consoles are becoming obsolete, stating that while Xbox may be struggling, it’s premature to declare console gaming as a whole is failing.

9 Uplifting TV Show Based on True Stories

There’s a growing trend in TV where shows are based on real-life events, but instead of focusing on negativity, they offer uplifting and inspiring stories. These programs highlight incredible true stories, showcase human creativity, and celebrate everyday heroes you might not read about in the news, ultimately leaving viewers feeling more hopeful and connected.

Netflix’s ‘Last Samurai Standing’ Is the Perfect ‘Shogun’ Replacement

Despite samurai films being incredibly popular in Japan, Netflix hasn’t really focused on them. While they’ve offered some anime and one live-action film, Blade of the 47 Ronin, that film feels more Western than traditionally Japanese. Netflix is missing iconic samurai movies like Twilight Samurai and 13 Assassins, and hasn’t explored classics such as Seven Samurai or The Lone Wolf and Cub.

Arc Raiders Marked For Death Quest Guide

You don’t need to collect items from the Buried City to finish the Marked for Death quest. If you’re concerned about losing valuable items during the raid, it’s a good idea to use a temporary, basic loadout. This way, you won’t risk losing the resources you’ve worked hard to collect.

Odds Chronicle Rolls Luck And Strategy Into A Tabletop-Inspired Roguelite

I’m really excited about Odds Chronicles! It’s a game where you fight on a grid, and each time you play (a ‘run’), it’s different because of the dice. Basically, every time you roll the dice, it gives your team something new – like a boost to their strength or magic. It’s a cool mix of strategy and luck!

Pretty Much Every Switch 2 Owner Bought Mario Kart World

When counting game sales, bundled games are included, which is why titles like Wii Sports appear among the best-selling of all time. A game’s success can be boosted by being bundled with unique console accessories – for example, Duck Hunt sold extremely well because it was often packaged with the NES Zapper.

Nobody Wants This Got Renewed For Season 3, And I Love How The Cast Reacted To Kristen Bell Breaking The News

What makes the show, starring Kristen Bell and Adam Brody, so good is its perfect mix of funny moments, genuine emotion, and relatable relationships. Luckily, the announcement about the show being renewed captures that same spirit. You can see Bell video chatting with her co-stars – including her on-screen love interest, potential future in-laws, her sister, and the show’s creator, Erin Foster – to share the exciting news. One of the calls includes a playful surprise, typical of the show’s humor. Check it out below!

Strange New Worlds’ Klingon Redesign Fixed 6 Years of Star Trek Controversy

While Star Trek: Discovery generally received positive feedback from critics and fans, it did face criticism, particularly regarding the new look of the Klingons. These iconic aliens were so drastically redesigned that many viewers didn’t recognize them when the show first aired. The controversy lingered for about six years, but was surprisingly resolved with the debut of Strange New Worlds.

Nintendo Switch 2 surpasses 10 million units sold, despite fan anger about prices

After the Switch 2 was announced, many people expressed dissatisfaction with Nintendo. This largely stemmed from the price of Mario Kart World, the first video game to cost $80, combined with the $450 price of the console itself. Viewers frequently demanded lower prices during the subsequent Treehouse livestream. Concerns were also raised about upgrades for Nintendo Switch 2 games costing $10, even for older titles like Breath of the Wild, which still sells for its original $60 price. Despite this criticism, console and game sales remain strong.
