Two free streaming services are currently offering both the original and the most recent Punisher films. While both movies feature the same character, they are very different in terms of how they look and feel. The late 1980s Punisher movie was made quickly, as Marvel needed to make money. Punisher: War Zone, however, was a passion project—a tribute to the character inspired by the darker Marvel Knights comics. Recently, the original Punisher film has gained renewed interest—Dolph Lundgren even revisited the role for a photoshoot in 2019. Unfortunately, War Zone hasn’t yet had its moment to shine.

Many actors appear in various TV shows, but few create truly unforgettable roles. However, some have successfully played multiple outstanding characters – often very different from one another – and they may continue to add to those impressive performances in the years to come.

Netflix releases a new original show almost every month, and with so many foreign-language series being added, it feels like the recommendations change constantly. While shows like Stranger Things and Wednesday become huge hits, many others quickly disappear and are forgotten.

Paramount+ is now a leading streaming service, reaching 79.1 million subscribers by the end of September 2025 and experiencing rapid growth in recent years. According to CEO David Ellison, Paramount Skydance intends to invest more in creating new shows and movies while also increasing the price of its streaming subscription.
