Throughout her time on television, Leavitt felt she was often portrayed as the bad guy. She told Cooper she worried her reputation from the show Mormon Wives would follow her onto Dancing With The Stars. She knew she already had a certain image in the media and expected it to continue on the show. However, she wasn’t prepared for the negativity to extend to her dance partner, Ballas. At times, she blamed herself, thinking the hate was because of her. This created a lot of emotional ups and downs. Despite the negativity, Leavitt is grateful for some career advancements. Besides appearing on season 4 of Mormon Wives, she landed her first movie role and will be making a Broadway-related announcement on Monday. She’s clearly been making progress!
