January 2026 is shaping up to be a great month for TV fans! Popular shows like The Pitt are back for a second season, and we’ve just gotten the latest seasons of Industry and Tell Me Lies. Plus, a new Game of Thrones spin-off, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, is coming soon.
While not a traditional trilogy with connected storylines, the last three Predator movies—directed by Trachtenberg—feel like a cohesive set. The Predator franchise has never actually had a direct sequel; each film tells its own story, linked only by the presence of the Yautja creatures. However, Trachtenberg’s unique style ties these recent films together, and they’re all fantastic.

This unique premise has proven very successful, and The Hunting Party is currently the second most popular show on Peacock, following the Season 2 premiere on January 8, 2026.
