A new line of toys from a third-party company includes the DW-E49 Side Slip, a figure based on the classic Autobot Sideswipe. They’ve also announced DW-E50 Plunder and DW-ES02 Trap Maker, representing lesser-known Decepticon characters. These figures are designed to be the same size as Micromaster toys, giving some of the more obscure characters from the original Transformers series a chance to shine alongside the popular ones.

According to Variety, Netflix has acquired the rights to the movie Funny Story, which started development earlier in 2024. In addition, Netflix is changing plans for Happy Place, turning it from a planned TV series into a full-length film. This deal was finalized on January 8, 2026, just before the release of People We Met on Vacation on the streaming service.
