Featuring Meg Donnelly and Drake Rodger as Mary Campbell and John Winchester, The Winchesters is set in the 1970s. Told from the perspective of Jensen Ackles – who famously played Dean in Supernatural – this prequel explains how Mary and John first met, fell in love, and began their lives hunting monsters. While the basic idea is straightforward, the show became unnecessarily complex because it takes place in an alternate universe within a larger multiverse, which confused many viewers.

The $55 billion agreement, initially revealed earlier this week, will result in EA becoming a private company. This will be led by the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia, working with Silver Lake and Affinity Partners. It’s reported that EA will also take on $20 billion in debt to complete the deal. Experts have differing opinions – some believe this could lead to growth, while others consider the move to be a gamble that primarily benefits those involved.

Shane Black’s screenwriting work on films like Lethal Weapon, The Last Boy Scout, and The Long Kiss Goodnight brought him significant financial success and also made him known for the over-the-top violence common in 1980s and 90s action movies. Now, Play Dirty feels like a return to the witty dialogue and over-the-top action that first made him famous. However, it almost feels like it’s trying to outdo a style of filmmaking that isn’t really made anymore-it’s as if it comes from a different reality where American action movies became increasingly violent, eventually reaching the extreme level seen in Play Dirty.

As a longtime fan, I’m thrilled to hear that the original UPN/CW series – you know, the one made entirely by Warner Bros. Television – is coming to Plex! It’s a bit of a bummer though, because if you recently canceled your Hulu subscription, you won’t be able to watch *everything*. This deal doesn’t include the revival season that was made specifically for Hulu, or even the fan-funded film from 2013 that came before it. So, if you’re a completist like me, you’ll still need another subscription to see it all. But let’s be honest, don’t we all usually prefer the original run anyway?

As you’ll recall from last week’s episode, Sofia and Rainey seem to be plotting something, giving the trio two potential subjects they’re free to discuss on their podcast, thanks to their Wondify contract. On a brighter note, Sofia gave Charles back his phone with no problems, and he’s moved on – now he’s back on dating apps, looking for a new relationship. It seems he’s eager to find someone!

In the last episode, Mary Harvey, the witch famous for reading stars, formally invited Monica. She asked Monica to come to the Magic Offering ceremony, which takes place during the festival in Corlapton. This festival is a time to say goodbye to those who have passed away. Monica and Mary went to the festival and unexpectedly met Prince Felix, the Second Prince. Monica was surprised to see him there without any guards.

The story primarily focuses on characters connected to Prodigy, one of the five powerful Corporations controlling the world. Prodigy is led by Boy Kavalier, a brilliant young man fixated on maintaining his youth. Boy Kavalier is the creator of the Lost Boys – a group of Hybrids formed by transferring the minds of children with terminal illnesses into artificial bodies. Other important figures include Arthur and Dame Sylvia, scientists who closely work with the Hybrid children, and Kirsh, a Synthetic who handles many tasks, such as managing the lab and caring for the kids. Atom Eins is a puzzling character who has been around since the start of the series, but his background remained largely unknown until the season’s final episode.
