Sony has moved the release date of “Insidious 6,” which was initially scheduled for August 29, to August 21, 2026, in favor of Darren Aronofsky’s crime thriller “Caught Stealing,” starring Austin Butler. As a result, “Insidious 6” will now premiere later than originally planned.
In the movie “Caught Stealing,” the main character Hank Thompson (played by Butler), a former baseball player who’s lost his fire, unwittingly gets entangled in a life-threatening battle for survival within the criminal underworld of 1990s New York City. He must navigate a dangerous and unfamiliar underground scene he never thought he’d encounter.
