Attack on Titan comes to Rainbow Six Siege X in its most divisive collab yet

Rainbow Six Siege is getting an anime crossover! A collaboration with Attack on Titan will be released on Christmas Eve.

Recently, the game Rainbow Six Siege has moved beyond its realistic military setting and embraced popular culture, featuring collaborations with franchises like Money Heist, Resident Evil, and Rick and Morty.

The initial experiments caused some discussion, but during the holidays, Siege X went all-in on a collaboration with Attack on Titan, moving beyond just hinting at it.

Siege X launches its first anime crossover with Attack on Titan

Rainbow Six Siege X players can now customize their experience with Attack on Titan-themed bundles, which Ubisoft has recently added as premium cosmetic options.

Amaru gets a special set inspired by Mikasa Ackerman, and Oryx is redesigned as the Armored Titan. Each set includes a hat, outfit, profile picture, accessory, background, and weapon designs, and costs 2,160 R6 Credits. You can buy both sets together for 4,080 Credits.

The crossover’s art style is very noticeable. Its anime-inspired characters appear within the realistic world of the game, creating a deliberate, and sometimes striking, difference in appearance.

Ubisoft has announced that these bundles won’t disappear after a set time and will always be available for purchase in the in-game store’s Bundles section.

Players have had very different reactions to the new content. Many loved the character options, calling them excellent and praising it as the best anime collaboration yet. However, others were critical, particularly of the visual design. On Reddit, some felt Mikasa wasn’t represented well, and there was joking about Amaru’s face looking similar to a popular internet meme.

This negative reaction is similar to what happened when Ubisoft previously combined Assassin’s Creed with Attack on Titan in 2025 – that collaboration also caused a divide among fans.
