Get ready, racing fans! 505 Games just announced Assetto Corsa Rally, a brand-new installment in the popular Assetto Corsa series that takes the action off the track and into the world of rally racing. It’s a welcome surprise, and we’re kicking off Friday with some exciting news!
Plus, we now know when you can start playing! The game will launch into Early Access on Steam on November 13th.
A New Spin for the Series, Bringing Hardcore Rally Simulation to Life

Good news for racing fans! Assetto Corsa Rally now has a Steam page with all the details about the game. It’s being developed by Supernova, with technical expertise from Kunos Simulazioni.
This is the latest installment in the Assetto Corsa series, designed to be a realistic and challenging rally simulator. Fans have been requesting a game that truly captures the speed and accuracy of the sport for quite some time, and this aims to deliver just that.
To bring its exciting vision to life, AC Rally uses the highly respected physics engine from Assetto Corsa and a special version of Unreal Engine 5. This strong technical foundation lets the developers offer a rally simulation with incredibly detailed environments created from laser scans, realistic car handling, and professional co-driver instructions.
The game will feature authentic handling for front-wheel drive, rear-wheel drive, and all-wheel drive cars, as well as a full day-night cycle and dynamic weather. You’ll experience a wide range of challenges, from the gravel roads of Wales to the paved tracks of Alsace.
Just talking about it makes me really look forward to the Early Access launch! It will include 10 officially licensed cars, four different rally stages – Munster, Saverne, Hafren South, and Hafren North – and a variety of game modes for both solo and online play.
Here’s the complete list of vehicles:
- Alfa Romeo GTA 1300 Junior Gr.2 – 1972
- Citroen Xsara WRC – 2001
- Fiat 131 Abarth Gr.4 – 1976
- FIAT 124 Sport Abarth Rally 16V Gr.4 – 1973
- Hyundai i20N Rally2 – 2021
- Lancia Delta HF integrale EVO Gr.A – 1992
- Lancia Stratos Gr.4 – 1976
- Lancia Rally 037 EVO 2 Gr.B – 1984
- Mini Cooper S Gr.2 – 1964
- Peugeot 208 Rally4 – 2020
I’m really excited about the game modes they’re planning! It’s great they’re including some basics like “Free Practice”, “Time Attack”, and a single rally stage to get you started. But what *really* has me hyped is stuff like “Rally Weekend” and the “Assetto Corsa Rally Events” – and the fact that we’ll be able to compete for the best times on online leaderboards is awesome!
