In simple terms, Ubisoft shared information about changes they’ve made to different game elements for the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Shadows, which is the next installment in the Assassin’s Creed series. These changes involve improvements to stealth, combat, and most recently, parkour mechanics, as detailed in their latest developer update.
Instead, the French publisher and creator have revealed that the upcoming action RPG game, Assassin’s Creed Shadows, will be postponed by a few weeks from its initially scheduled release date of 14th February 2025. This minor setback provides the development team with additional time to perfect and deliver the game in its optimal and stable form across various consoles and PC platforms.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows now releases March 20, 2025.

The announcement about the game delay was first shared on its official website and later spread through their specific social media platforms. Marc-Alexis Côté, the Executive Producer of Assassin’s Creed series, officially declared that Assassin’s Creed Shadows would be moved from its initial release date of 14th February 2025 to 20th March 2025 for both consoles and computers.
