Assassin’s Creed Shadows Gets New Update Ahead Of Claws of Awaji Expansion

Next week, the first DLC expansion for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, titled Claws of Awaji, will be available. However, before Naoe and Yasuke engage in battle against the Sanzoku Ippa in a new island region on September 16, Ubisoft plans to release the update version 1.1.1 for Assassin’s Creed Shadows on September 11.

In the narrative of Claws of Awaji, Junjiro, an ally of Naoe and Yasuke, embarks on a mission to encounter a mythical bo master, a move intended to grant Naoe access to a bo staff. But in a surprising turn, Ubisoft’s latest update will bestow the bo staff as a free item for all players within the game, regardless of whether they possess the DLC, from September 16 onwards.

In the last update, the maximum character level was bumped up to 80. However, with Update 1.1.1, we’re taking it to a new high of level 100. Plus, players will get an extra pair of upgrade levels for special buildings and a set of three fresh hideout levels. Those who prefer stealth missions under the cover of darkness can look forward to upgrading Nando to level 2, which allows them to meditate and fast-forward time to either 6 AM or 6 PM.

Upon upgrading Study to level 4, scouts can now unveil vantage points and hideouts that facilitate faster travel for Yasuke and Naoe in various provinces. Reaching Kakurega level 4 and discovering every vantage point within a province will lift the fog of war, providing players with a comprehensive view of the entire territory as they strategize their next actions.

Naoe and Yasuke can advance their equipment to the Mythic and Artifact levels by raising Forge to level 6. Once an item reaches a new quality, it can be improved another eight levels. For instance, epic items transform into mythic ones, while legendary items can ascend to artifacts.

Moreover, a fresh endeavor named Sanctuary has been incorporated into the Animus HUB, allowing enthusiasts an opportunity to secure Ezio-themed merchandise. For gamers with the Claws of Awaji expansion pack, the Awaji region will introduce some novel mysteries to be explored.
