Today, I’m thrilled to share that Ubisoft is rolling out an update for Assassin’s Creed Shadows to version 1.1.1! This isn’t just a bug-fixing extravaganza, but also includes a new mission preparing us for the Claws of Awaji expansion dropping on September 16. But wait, there’s more! A fresh feature in the Animus Hub, called Sanctuary, is introducing an unexpected delight – a feline friend dressed as our beloved Ezio Auditore da Firenze from Assassin’s Creed!
In the Animus Hub’s Sanctuary project, players will have an opportunity to uncover four items inspired by the Italian Renaissance Assassin, and one of these items is a white cat named Rooftop Cat, which wears Ezio’s robes. We’re excited that not only can you spend time with this new Ezio-themed cat, but you’ll also be able to summon it by saying the phrase “requiescat in pspsps.
Inside Animus Hub, projects serve a role similar to the “battle pass” within Assassin’s Creed games. By playing, you accumulate experience which then grants access to aesthetic upgrades that can be utilized across the main game. Here’s what you get with the Project Sanctuary pass:

In the upcoming Update 1.1.1 of Assassin’s Creed Shadows, players can anticipate obtaining a new bo staff weapon, added during the preliminary mission for the forthcoming DLC. The update will also address several bugs, including improvements to the Hideout for enhanced customization options and eliminating repetitive tutorials that appeared after first unlocking Yasuke.
