The Valley of Memory update for Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be released on Tuesday, November 18, 2025. It’s free for all players who own the game on PC, PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. Assassin’s Creed Mirage is also playable on iOS devices and through Amazon Luna.

Valley of Memory adds a ton of convenient gameplay improvements for the player.

The Valley of Memory update introduces replayable missions called black box missions and contracts. Once you’ve finished one, you can revisit it through the “Animus Sequences” on your objective board, or by finding it again in the game world.

Each replayable mission offers a unique challenge with different modifiers like:

  • No Eagle Vision
  • Only kill the Main Target
  • Avoid detection
  • Complete before the timer expires

Completing these levels earns you exclusive in-game rewards.

So, the Valley of Memory update really revamped the parkour, which is awesome! Now I can turn on manual jumps when I’m climbing, giving me way more control over where I go. Plus, they added a new control scheme where I can customize how I move sideways and backwards – it’s a game changer for navigating the environment!

The Valley of Memory update introduces a new skill, Engineer 2, which is automatically added to Basim’s skill tree. This allows him to use modifications of any level on his tools. Additionally, all tools now have a new level of modification available.

After completing parkour challenges to find hidden music sheets, Basim can play the oud at specific locations. The developers also mentioned they’ve added a fresh take to the black box missions.
