Where Winds Meet is a brand new, free-to-play open-world action RPG that gives players a lot of choice in how they play. You can enjoy mini-games, explore a huge world, complete quests, and battle powerful bosses. Before you start, you’ll need to create your character and choose an Aspiration Talent. This guide will help you decide between Drunken Precision and Rhetoric Edge to find the best fit for your playstyle.
Which Aspiration Talent should you choose in Where Winds Meet?
After the tutorial and initial boss battle in Where Winds Meet, you’ll get to fully customize your character – there are a lot of options, so it might take a while! Once you’re happy with how they look, you can name them and then pick one of two Aspiration Talents. These talents are permanent boosts that help you during minigames.
The “Drunken Precision” skill improves your accuracy when throwing darts at pitch pots. In this minigame, you follow a moving circle with your cursor, and when the charge bar fills, you aim and throw.
Choosing Rhetoric Edge will help you in the Gift of Gab minigame, where you debate other players. You’ll use word cards during these debates, and the aim is to deplete your opponent’s health to zero.
Which perk is best for you? They’re all helpful! If you struggle with tracking and aiming, Drunken Precision is a good choice. If you find those tasks easy, go with Rhetoric Edge. I personally believe aiming at pots isn’t too hard, so I recommend Rhetoric Edge.
