Asmongold’s Twitch account, Zackrawrr, has been banned after he made offensive comments during a livestream.
On Monday, April 6, 2026, around 8 PM Pacific Time, Asmon’s secondary account was temporarily disabled. The streamer quickly responded on X, formerly known as Twitter, with strong criticism of the platform.
Asmongold claims he was banned from Twitch for a week after saying he didn’t care what people from developing countries thought. While Twitch doesn’t publicly explain its bans, Asmongold thinks that comment was the reason for the seven-day suspension of his channel.
Responding to the penalty – which wasn’t his first for making controversial statements – Asmongold criticized Twitch, claiming they were acting unfairly and that he hadn’t actually violated their rules.
Someone asked if I’d get banned for saying I didn’t really care what an American thought about the Middle East, and honestly, no way! It’s a clear double standard, and I definitely didn’t do anything against Twitch’s rules. I mean, I didn’t break the Terms of Service or anything.
Asmongold banned for a week on Twitch
Since the ban is only for a week, Asmongold’s account will be active again on Monday, April 13th. Currently, you can still see his Zackrawrr account, and even watch the stream from April 6th that led to the ban.
I was banned for a week after saying I didn’t care about the opinions of people from less developed countries. It makes me wonder – would anyone be banned for saying they don’t care about an American’s opinion on the Middle East? Probably not. It’s a clear double standard, and I don’t believe I violated the platform’s terms of service.

Twitch’s rules state that content considered upsetting or offensive could violate their Prohibited Conduct guidelines, as outlined in section 10 of their Terms of Service.
Asmongold received a ban 18 months ago due to what were described as racist comments. He recently made similar statements, saying he had no sympathy for Palestinians and suggesting they were an inferior population.
The streamer previously called his last Twitch ban the “greatest two weeks” of his life.
I’ve been seeing a lot of heat directed at his statements from April 6, 2026, and honestly, some people are really calling for him to be permanently banned from the game – they’re saying what he said was just awful.
