Asmongold leaks stream revenue and claims he’d make $1M a month by ditching Twitch

Asmongold, a well-known streamer, recently shared why he won’t be switching from Twitch to Kick, especially after publicly revealing how much money he made on Twitch in October.

Asmongold is a hugely popular online creator, with millions of fans on platforms like X, Twitch, Kick, and YouTube. Because of his large audience, he’s making a lot of money sharing his opinions on politics and culture.

On November 3rd, Asmongold shared that his Twitch earnings had significantly decreased, calling it a “nerf.” He even showed his October earnings dashboard to prove the drop.

During October, he earned almost $20,000 from subscriptions on Twitch and a much larger $165,000 on Kick.

He explained that Kick offers incentives for streamers. He said if he stopped streaming on other platforms and only used Kick, he could potentially earn around $1 million each month, as they increase your pay rate if you stream exclusively with them.

Asmongage admits he thinks he could earn a lot more money by streaming on a different platform, but he’s decided to stay with Twitch.

The streamer explained he prefers not to stream exclusively on Kick, as some of his audience enjoys watching on Twitch as well.

He questioned, “Am I not earning enough?” Then he added, “Honestly, if money were my main goal, this wouldn’t be the conversation I’d be having. I’m already financially secure enough to invest in opportunities that could be far more lucrative than streaming.”

He explained that money wasn’t his primary motivation anymore. He believed he could actually earn more by delegating tasks to others and expanding his operations.

He didn’t share any details about his future plans, but pointed out that not all wealthy people are entertainers. He used former Activision-Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick as an example, saying Kotick earns significantly more than most rappers.

Even though Asmongold is very wealthy, he frequently shares details about his everyday life, which often includes a surprisingly simple lifestyle and unusual eating habits.

Last October, the streamer surprised viewers by announcing he was “evolving” and revealed he hadn’t showered in three months, and only changed his pillowcases twice ever.
