Arknights: Endfield gets two new trailers ahead of launch, pre-registrations top 35 million

Hypergryph, the developer of Arknights: Endfield, and publisher Gryphline have released the official launch trailer and a gameplay trailer for the upcoming free-to-play game. These trailers were first unveiled during a developer livestream on January 16, 2026, just days before the game’s release on PC, mobile devices, and PlayStation 5 on January 22nd.

The trailers for Arknights: Endfield showcase the game’s story and environments, introducing both the player character (known as the Endministrator) and the playable characters (Operators) available at launch. Key characters featured include Pogranichnik, Ember, Ardelia, Gilberta, Yvonne, Chen Qianyu, Wulfgard, Rossi, Da Pan, Tangtang, Lifeng, Mi Fu, Zhuang Fangyi, Laevatain, and Perlica. The game is set on Talos-II, a new planet separate from the original Arknights world. Players awaken as the Endministrator to lead Endfield Industries, building infrastructure to protect the planet’s settlements from danger. They’ll do this using the Automated Industrial Complex, which can quickly deploy buildings and factories from the orbiting spaceship, OMV Dijiang.

Hypergryph recently shared details about the game’s launch plans during a livestream. While the game officially releases on January 22nd, players can start downloading it on January 20th. A web event called “Final Prep Orders” is already underway, running from January 7th to February 5th, and offers rewards like the powerful 5-star weapon, Sundering Steel, which will be available when the game launches.

When the game launches, the first limited-time character available through the in-game banner will be Laevatain. Players can also immediately jump into the character-focused event, “Let Fire Consume the Ashen Past.” Plus, a special Beginner Sign-In promotion will reward new players with the 6-Star Operator Ardelia and her unique weapon, Dreams of the Starry Beach.
