Arizona Beverages unveiled a fresh Chocolate Egg Cream Soda offering in partnership with the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. Proceeds from this drink’s sale will be dedicated towards constructing mortgage-free homes for families of fallen first responders, Gold Star families, and disabled veterans.
The New York-rooted drink company, famous for its 99-cent cans, announced that their partnership is a salute to the city’s enduring strength and resilience, which has greatly influenced their identity. The Tunnel to Towers Foundation commemorates New York firefighter Stephen Siller, who tragically lost his life during the September 11 attacks while serving with FDNY Squad 1 in Brooklyn.
Don Vultaggio, the founder of Arizona Beverages, expressed that Arizona’s partnership with Tunnel to Towers embodies what we admire most about America – bravery, selflessness, and camaraderie. This collaboration is our method of expressing gratitude and offering support to the families of our brave heroes.
A New York classic reimagined
The revamped Chocolate Egg Cream Soda takes a fresh approach to the traditional Brooklyn drink, known initially for its foamy head like that of cream. However, this Arizonan variant forgoes eggs and actual cream; instead, it incorporates milk to deliver a velvety, sentimental flavor.

Frank Siller, as both Chairman and CEO of Tunnel to Towers, expressed that the partnership not only pays tribute to his brother Stephen’s enduring legacy but also embraces a cherished New York tradition. “This iconic beverage embodies the very same camaraderie that fuels our purpose. Arizona Beverages’ dedication enables us to uphold Stephen’s service-oriented legacy, while preserving the unique flavors and memories that define New York City.
In 2025, Arizona hasn’t limited their drink announcements to just one. After a playful tease on April Fool’s Day, the company officially unveiled in August that they collaborated with TikTok sensation The Rizzler to produce ‘Rizzler Berry’, which is set to hit shelves in October.
Recently, there’s been a surge in the demand for beverages with a chocolatey taste. In 2024, Coke teamed up with Oreo, leading to the creation of not just cookie-tasting drinks but also cookies that mimic the flavor of soda.
