The two exchanged voice messages, and it was quite an exciting moment for them both.

Grande expressed her joy at witnessing Selena’s special moment, saying, ‘I deeply appreciate seeing this, as I understand her dedication and patience. It mirrors my own experiences, so I know the emotion she feels. Why not take the opportunity to congratulate my industry friends when I can?

This collaboration, she explained, echoed the strength of community – the act of supporting and uplifting one another. Regardless of whether it’s in film, music or daily life, Gomez emphasized that community is the cornerstone of her work.
At times, this field can make you feel quite isolated,” Gomez admitted, “but instances such as these, gathered here with so many remarkable women like Ariana Grande,” – she indicated towards Grande – “serve to remind me that I’m not facing it all on my own.

Carter, Diane Warren, Rita Wilson, Olivia Wilde, Rachel Morrison, Eve Hewson, June Squibb, Laura Karpman, Sara Foster, Erin Foster, and the Academy’s president, Janet Yang.
Currently, Gomez is pondering over the idea of additional musical projects following Emilia Pérez’s mention. Yet, she maintains that she feels she lacks the necessary experience for Broadway at this point. One production she particularly admires is ‘Chicago’.
When inquired about whether she leans more towards Roxy Hart or Velma Kelly, Gomez promptly grinned and replied, “Without a doubt, I’m a Roxy.
She laughed, “Let’s not start rumors! I’m too busy right now.”
Beyond her Golden Globe nod for “Emilia,” Gomez also received another nomination for her role in “Only Murders in the Building.” She commented on her co-star, Meryl Streep, not receiving an anticipated nomination. “I’m disappointed, but I think she’s such a paragon of greatness in her life that she doesn’t require validation,” Gomez expressed. “She is Meryl Streep.
