You wouldn’t expect romance on Beast Games Season 2, but it seems Players 152 and 173 – known as Monika and Jim – have fallen for each other while filming. And sources say they’re still a couple!

The second season of MrBeast’s competition show launched on Prime Video on January 7th with a lot on the line. This season features 200 competitors—an even split between those who are exceptionally intelligent and those who are incredibly strong—compared to the 1,000 players in the first season.

With only 25 players remaining, the competition is getting intense as they all vie for the grand prize of $5 million. Among the finalists are a couple who have become popular online, generating a lot of buzz about their relationship.

In the second episode, Jim (Player 173) asks Monika (Player 152) to be his girlfriend after they both successfully completed the recent challenges. But will their relationship last?

Even though Player 173 and 152 haven’t officially confirmed they’re still a couple, their recent Instagram posts strongly suggest they are, months after filming finished on Beast Games Season 2.

In the first episode of the show’s second season, viewers see Jim and Monika develop a connection that quickly leads to a kiss, and then they tell each other they’re in love.

What you see on TV can be misleading – it only captures brief moments of the competition. Contestants actually spend a lot more time together than what’s shown in the final broadcast.

Okay, so I just watched Jim’s interview and he hinted he’s got a connection with someone else on the show – contestant number 152! Then they showed footage of him talking to her, Monika, and it was so sweet! He told her he couldn’t imagine going six weeks without seeing her, and she straight-up said he was coming home with her! Seriously, it seems like things are getting pretty serious between them.

After both successfully advancing to Game 3, Jim and Monika meet again in Beast City and confess their feelings for each other. Jim then asks Monika to be his girlfriend, and she happily accepts.

Although it’s January 2026, Season 2 of Beast Games was filmed last summer, between June and August of 2025. Interestingly, if you check Jim and Monika’s Instagram accounts, they seem to still be a couple right now.

They recently posted a video of Jim preparing for the show, playfully suggesting he’ll need help from Monika during the challenges on ‘Beast Games’. The caption hinted at their continued relationship while jokingly acknowledging Monika is likely to do better than him.

I saw this really cute clip of them together, showing how their relationship started. The caption was hilarious – he basically said he’s terrible at flirting, and then the video showed him confidently chatting someone up! But that’s not all – there’s even more proof they’re a thing!

On Christmas Eve, Monika shared a photo of herself in a Santa hat with the caption, “Not feeling cute.” Jim responded in the comments, excitedly writing, “I can’t handle how adorable you are!” A friend then commented that they made a lovely couple, and Monika liked the comment.

Okay, so she posted this super cute, flirty photo on Instagram back in November, and the caption was all about feeling like the star of her own movie. And Jim? He left the sweetest comment – he basically said he’d do anything for her! It was so cute, I couldn’t stop smiling.

Scrolling through Jim’s Instagram, you see a ton of pics of him and his girlfriend. I even found one from December where he was totally hyping her up – he was really into her tattoos and mentioned she used to do gymnastics, saying people shouldn’t underestimate her because of it!

They also shared some fun Halloween videos where they dressed up as characters from the movie Terrifier 2. It seems like, regardless of the competition’s outcome, they’ve fallen in love.
