Arc Raiders What We Left Behind Quest Guide

In Arc Raiders, you’ll complete various quests across different locations, and ‘What We Left Behind‘ is one of them. This quest requires you to visit Buried City, Dam Battlegrounds, and Spaceport to find certain items. It can be tricky knowing exactly where to go if you’re new to the game’s maps, but we’re here to help!

Since you don’t need to collect any items or worry about gear in What We Left Behind, feel free to start with an empty loadout to keep your good items safe. However, if you prefer, you can always bring your best equipment and be prepared for combat.

When you’re ready to get started, here’s how to complete each step of What We Left Behind.

  • On Buried City, search 2 containers in the Raider Camp beneath the Parking Garage

On Buried City, search 2 containers in the Raider Camp beneath the Parking Garage

The quest begins in the Parking Garage, located on the northwest side of Buried City. Be careful, as it’s a popular place for people to search vehicles, and you might encounter other raiders.

Once you reach the Parking Garage, go to the first floor and find door number ’01’. You’ll need to force it open, so first check to make sure no one is around, then quickly open the door.

Use the indoor zipline to get to the Raider Camp. Once you’re there, open any two containers in the room underneath the Parking Garage to finish the first part of the quest. When you’re ready to leave, extract, and you’ll be prepared for the next stage of the adventure.

On Dam Battlegrounds, search for anything significant in the South Swamp Outpost

For the next part of the quest, head to the South Swamp Outpost, which is located on the west side of Dam Battlegrounds. It’s generally a safe spot with few players around, but it’s always wise to be careful and watch out for any enemy players who might be completing the same quest.

Okay, so when I got to the South Swamp Outpost, I headed into that big, round room. That’s the main area, and I just needed to click on the pile of papers sitting there to complete the objective. Easy peasy!

Now that you’ve completed the Dam Battlegrounds, you can move on to the final step of the quest.

On Spaceport, search for anything significant in Bilguun’s Hideout, next to the Container Storage

The next step in the quest takes you to Bilguun’s Hideout, located in Spaceport. It’s a small storage area next to the Container Storage, and it’s usually empty. Still, it’s always a good idea to be cautious and prepared for anything.

Okay, so when I got there, Bilguun’s Hideout was right above me – pretty hard to miss! There’s this bright yellow ladder that takes you straight up, making it super easy to climb up and get inside.

Once inside, check the left side of the hideout for notes you can interact with.

After you locate the notes, you can finish the quest by retrieving them and then talking to Tian Wen back in Speranza. That took a lot of running around, but don’t worry – there are still many more quests to complete in Arc Raiders. For a deeper dive into the game, check out our complete guides.
