ARC Raiders is now available on PC and consoles after extensive testing with almost 200,000 players. Despite a change in plans – moving from a free-to-play game to a full-price purchase with different editions – players are still excited to jump in. Unfortunately, like many new online games, the launch has been plagued by server problems, causing errors and long wait times. The developers are aware of the issues and have shared their response.
Connection issues in ARC Raiders
Many online games have trouble with connections when they first launch, and even single-player games can sometimes have these issues. Currently, ARC Raiders is experiencing problems with players connecting to its servers, with messages saying “Online services are currently unavailable” and displaying an error code (ARRT0003). Players are facing queues and general online connection errors. The good news is the developers have responded quickly to address these problems.
The team at Embark Studios has acknowledged the connection issues and is working to fix them. We can likely expect a solution soon. For the latest updates, the best place to check is the game-announcements channel on their official Discord server.
Now that the developers are aware of the issues, all we can do is wait for them to release a fix. It’s possible the game launched at a quiet time for players in Europe and the Americas, so hopefully the biggest surge of players will happen after the problems are resolved.
