In Arc Raiders, many missions involve going to the surface to explore, collect items, or find information. The quest “Reduced to Rubble” follows this pattern, starting with a surprisingly simple task: taking a picture. It sounds easy, but let’s see what it actually takes.
You don’t need to worry about extracting items to finish the ‘Reduced to Rubble’ mission, so it’s a good idea to use a free loadout if you’re new to the Blue Gate map or just want to avoid losing valuable gear. There are a lot of powerful enemies on this map, and things can turn dangerous quickly, so it’s best to play it safe.
When you’re ready to complete Reduced to Rubble, here’s how to make it so.
Where to take a photo of the collapsed highway
You can find the collapsed highway in the southern part of the Blue Gate map. It’s usually a peaceful area, but be aware that other players might be there completing the same task. If you see them, it’s best to just wave and continue on your way.
At the Highway Collapse location, your task is to take a picture of the area. Use the image as a guide, but be aware there are several spots – both on the ground and on the broken highway – where you can trigger the photo prompt.
As you explore, keep an eye out for good photo locations. When you find one, a yellow “Take Photo” message will appear on your screen. Simply press the button to snap the picture and complete that part of the quest. These locations are common and easy to spot, so you should be able to find them quickly once you reach the area.
After you’ve taken the photo, your next step is to go to the Broken Earth location. Getting there means heading northeast through the Olive Grove. Be careful, as this area has more enemies like raiders and ARC.
Where to investigate the unknown ARC machines in Broken Earth
When you arrive at the Broken Earth location, follow the path of damage and then check out the strange ARC machines nearby. Keep heading northeast to the spot marked on the map.
You’ll discover a large, broken ARC. Examining its base will finish your investigation of the mysterious ARC machines, and will also complete the “Reduced to Rubble” quest.
Now that you’ve finished the quest, you can keep exploring and collecting items, or leave the area whenever you’re ready. If it’s still available, the Overlook Airshaft is a good place to exit. When you get back to Speranza, hand in your quest to start the next one. You’ve still got a lot to do, raider!
