Arc Raiders launched just last week, and it’s already proving popular! A new update has been released, adding exciting features like dynamic weather, a secret bunker to find, and a nighttime version of the Blue Gate map for raids.
Embark Studios has released update 1.1.0 for Arc Raiders, bringing several gameplay improvements. A new feature – dynamic weather, specifically electromagnetic storms with lightning – will be added this Saturday, November 8th. These storms will change conditions on the game’s maps, creating more hazardous areas to explore. Interestingly, the lightning will also leave behind unique formations for players to discover and investigate.
Players can now explore a new hidden bunker added to the game, offering a fresh area to discover and better loot. It’s hinted to be located underground near the edges of the Spaceport map.
The weekend update also introduces a challenging night raid to the Blue Gate map, giving players a chance to find even more valuable loot while playing in the dark.
Arc Raiders has quickly become a success for Embark Studios, selling 2.5 million copies and generating over $100 million in revenue during its first week. - Fixed the issue where the Integrated Shield Recharger was only recharging when equipped.
- Fixed an issue where Augment skills sometimes did not work.
- Fixed exploit using deployables pushing players through walls.
- Added a charge progress for Integrated Shield repair.
- Fixed an issue where Health Regen skills wouldn’t work if they were triggered while DBNO.
- Fixed the bug where the Well-Travelled achievement wouldn’t register.
- Barricades can no longer be placed near zipline exit points.
- Added the Punch Hands emote (preorder bonus) in game.
- Changed the schedule so new Map Conditions become available Saturday.
