Arc Raiders has a lot of missions where you need to repair things – you might even feel like a professional electrician by the time you’re done! The ‘Flickering Threat’ quest sends you to the Dam Battlegrounds to fix a power generator, so get ready to work. If you’re stuck on how to finish it, we’ve got you covered.
You don’t have to gather any materials to start the Flickering Threat quest, but you will need 4 Wires to fix the generator. Be sure to collect these beforehand – either by adding them to your inventory or finding them in the Power Generation Complex. You won’t be able to continue the quest without them.
When you’re ready to tackle Flickering Threat, follow the steps below.
Where to find the Generator Hall
The Generator Hall is on the north side of the Dam Battlegrounds map, on the left when facing the Power Generation Complex. It’s a popular spot for both ARC troopers and raiders, so be ready for combat when you go there.

When you get to the Generator Hall, you’ll need to fix a generator. Make sure you have 4 Wires with you!
How to repair the generator
To fix the generator, go to the spot marked on the map and find the holes in the ground. You can drop down these holes to reach the Generator Hall. While there are doors and hallways leading there too, dropping down is much faster.

Once you’re inside, position yourself between the two elevators. Look at the end of the elevator on the far left – you’ll see a message asking you to fix it with 4 Wires. Interact with the message to complete the repair. After that, you’ll need to turn on a power switch.
Exit the Generator Hall through the door at the very end of the hallway. Go up the stairs and through the next two doors, then turn left immediately and go through two more doors. You’ll find a box in the corner of that room – interacting with it will restore power and finish the quest.

A staircase in this room leads up to an extraction point near the North Complex Elevator. You can use it to return to Speranza, but be cautious! Raiders often hang out here and might attack you immediately. Move slowly, use cover, and wait for the elevator to extract safely back to Speranza.
