The ‘Deciphering the Data‘ quest in Arc Raiders requires you to find Magnetic Decryptors at the Spaceport, and their locations aren’t immediately obvious. Luckily, we’ve got you covered! We’ll show you exactly where to find the two decryptors you need to finish the quest given by Shani.
So, you don’t have to extract to finish ‘Deciphering the Data,’ which is great! But honestly, I always run a free extraction kit anyway. You never know when you’ll run into someone else doing the same quest, and the last thing I want is to lose all my stuff in a fight while I’m trying to solve the puzzle!

How to complete Deciphering the Data in Arc Raiders
To begin the “Deciphering the Data” quest, head to the Fuel Control building. You’ll find it in the northeastern part of the Spaceport map. It’s quite dark inside, so feel free to use your flashlight.
The main room is quite dark and filled with computer terminals. Along the southeast wall, you’ll find a special machine – the Magnetic Decryptor. Using it will give you a new goal: to head to the Arrival Building.
The Arrival Building is in the northwest part of the map, meaning you’ll need to travel across an open area to get there quickly. Watch out while crossing, though – raiders often try to pick off players in that spot.
Okay, so when I get to the Arrival Building, I need to go all the way up to the top floor. There’s another set of machines up there, against the wall that’s kind of north and west. They don’t look exactly like the ones I messed around with at the Fuel Control building, but they should work just as well!
With the quest finished, you can use any working elevator to leave. Be aware that players might be waiting to attack near the elevators, particularly if you completed the quest at night. You should be safe if you find a good hiding spot and stay alert. Remember to return to Speranza to claim your reward!
