The Buried City map in Arc Raiders features many of the game’s most engaging quests, like Communication Hideout. This quest involves traveling to the Red Tower and completing several steps to activate an antenna. If you’re tackling this quest, here’s a complete walkthrough to help you through each stage.
You can complete this quest with whatever gear you have, so feel free to start with an empty loadout if you prefer to play it safe. It’s always frustrating to lose good items during a quest! However, the area around the Red Tower – especially places like the Santa Maria houses – has some potentially valuable loot, so you might want to gear up first if you’re interested in exploring further.
Either way, when you’re ready to complete Communication Hideout, follow the steps below.

Reach the Red Tower in Old Town
The Red Tower is in the southern part of Buried City. While generally safe, raiders occasionally check for weaknesses under the tower, so it’s wise to stay alert.
Once you arrive, you’ll be prompted to find a missing battery cell.
Find the missing battery cell
You can find the missing battery cell outside, on the east side of the Red Tower, right next to a small building.
Open the box to get a battery. Then, take the battery and put it into the generator nearby.
Install the battery cell in the generator
Turn 180 degrees from the box to spot a yellow generator box only a few steps away.
Place the battery cell in the glowing blue slot, then you’ll need to enable the generator’s power.
Enable the power on the generator
To enable the power, simply interact with the prompt on the side of the generator.
Once that’s finished, your last step is to go to the Red Tower and activate the antenna.

Finally, go inside and climb the stairs just below the Red Tower. You’ll find an entrance near the generator.
Head up the stairs inside.
As soon as you reach the top of the stairs, turn right and go through the hole in the wall. You’ll see a yellow ladder straight ahead – climb it to reach the area below the Red Tower.
Once you’re up on the landing, simply wrap around it to find the terminal.
Complete the quest by using this terminal. Once you’re done, you can collect any remaining loot or leave the raid whenever you want. Good work, raider!
