Celeste needs your help in Arc Raiders! She’s asked you to find two journals she left somewhere on the Dam Battlegrounds map. Getting them won’t be easy – you’ll have to search two locations that are far apart from each other, so prepare for a challenging quest called ‘Celeste’s Journal’.
To simplify completing Celeste’s Journals, equip an augment with a safe pocket. You’ll need to collect both journals and return to Speranza, and it can be challenging carrying them across potentially dangerous areas. Make sure you have a good gun and plenty of ammo to stay safe during the journey.
Once you’re prepared to begin this difficult quest, follow these steps. It’s a good idea to search the outpost nearest where you start first, and then move on to the others.

Where to find Celeste’s journal at the South Swamp Outpost
You can find one of Celeste’s journals at the South Swamp Outpost, a building located in the southwestern part of the swamp.
Go into the South Swamp Outpost and find the journal on one of the beds. Take the journal and put it in your safe pocket, if you have one.
If you’re just starting out, head towards the Northern Outpost. It’s a long journey, so try to avoid any enemies – like the ARC or other raiders – along the way.
Where to find Celeste’s journal at the Northern Outpost
A journal belonging to Celeste can be found in the Raider Outpost East, described in the quest as a northern outpost. It’s located just northeast of the Power Generation Complex, an area that can be dangerous because of patrolling ARC robots.
Approach the outpost cautiously, then go inside. Look for the journal on the small bed pushed against the wall. If you have space, put the journal in your secure pocket.
If you’re starting with this journal, mark the South Swamp Outpost on your map and head there, being careful to avoid any ARC troops or raiders you encounter.
Extracting with both journals
Getting out of Dam Battlegrounds with both of Celeste’s journals can be challenging. After traveling around so much, you’ll have used up a good portion of the 30-minute raid timer, meaning there will probably be more ARC enemies on the map. Therefore, you need to carefully head to the closest extraction elevator, avoiding detection.
Once you collect the journals you’ve found, you’ll finish the quest and can return to Speranza to complete it. Good luck with the extraction!
