ARC Raiders: Best Cost-Effective Custom Builds

In ARC Raiders, one thing is clear: the ARCs will find you, whether it’s soon or later. You can’t escape them forever.

Embark’s new game is challenging players as they fight off waves of dangerous enemies—both unpredictable AI creatures called ARCs and other players—who are trying to steal their hard-earned gear and leave them with nothing.

Raiders always risk losing valuable weapons and supplies – a few unlucky scavenging trips can leave them with almost nothing. But don’t worry, my Raider, Gorgon, has been scouting the surface to find out which weapons offer the best value for your resources.

5. Hairpin & Kettle

Pennies On The Dollar

This kit is built for quiet, hidden attacks. Honestly, I’ve discovered that one of the best ways to make money out here is by tracking down and eliminating other Raiders, as harsh as that sounds.

The hairpin silenced pistol is great for quietly disabling alarms and cameras, helping you sneak up on enemies. Plus, the kettle fires surprisingly quickly, making it a powerful weapon in close- and medium-range fights.

Since this base is designed around a secret agent concept, I included a jolt mine to surprise and disable attacking Raiders.

4. Rattler & Ferro

Dependable Long-Range Combo

This popular kit from Gorgon features a powerful AR and battle rifle combination. It costs 13,260 coins and includes a generous supply of grenades – gas, light impact, and snapblast – to give you an edge in battle.

Why so many grenades, Gorgon?

As a player, I’ve definitely noticed that when I manage to hit someone, they usually have time to find cover, heal up a bit, and start shooting back! But honestly, if you’re good with grenades, you can really stop that from happening – they don’t get much of a chance to recover!

—Gorgon

This is a strong strategy. Start by using gas grenades to wear down your opponent’s stamina, then quickly follow up with a barrage of explosives and rapid fire from the Rattler weapon.

3. Stitcher & Anvil

Incredible Value

This build is mostly effective because of the anvil pistol, and its powerful damage output makes it a worthwhile choice.

This kit costs $16,881 and is built for quick action. It includes lighter weapons and an adrenaline shot to boost your stamina, helping you escape ARC attacks.

This setup is great for both player battles and defending against automated robots. The anvil weapon does a lot of damage with headshots, and it’s also effective at breaking through robot defenses, helping you keep your valuable items safe.

2. Ferro & Burletta

The Loadout You Didn’t Know You Needed

This build is all about closing the gap. What does that mean, Gorgon?

When you get a really great shot on an enemy Raider, they’ll panic and try to hide. Keep the pressure on! Use the Burletta pistol’s quick handling to pursue them and finish the fight.

—Gorgon

The Burletta weapon fires rapidly and deals good damage, but its biggest strength is the speed it gives you. Being able to move quickly is key to winning fights – it makes you a harder target and lets you find the best position to attack.

1. Hairpin & Rattler

Opposites Attract

Whether you prefer a gentle touch or a fiery blast, a cool approach or a heated one, these weapons have you covered. Just like some things are naturally opposites, you can’t always know what you’ll face on your next adventure, but with this pair, you’ll be prepared for anything.

This setup gives you both stealth and power. You can quietly take down enemies with the silenced hairpin pistol, and switch to the rattler for stronger attacks and to break through heavily armored opponents when a fight gets intense.

I’ve stocked up with five adrenaline shots and five light impact grenades – basically, I’m going in ready to really push the action and deal some extra damage. Gotta be prepared, you know?
