In Arc Raiders, you’ll undertake missions to locate survivors, and one of these is called “A Warm Place to Rest.” This quest tasks you with finding evidence of raiders who may have survived on the surface, specifically near the Abandoned Highway Camp in the Buried City. This guide will walk you through everything you need to know to successfully complete it.
Okay, so I’m trying to finish “A Warm Place to Rest” and it’s sending me all over the Buried City! It doesn’t require scavenging, but because I’m running around everywhere, I’m realizing a totally empty loadout is a bad idea. There are raiders and ARC soldiers all over the place, and I’m constantly taking damage. Honestly, I’d recommend bringing at least a couple of good weapons and plenty of healing supplies. You really want to be prepared to stay alive while you’re running around completing the objectives!
When you’re ready to finish A Warm Place to Rest, follow the steps below.

Locate the Abandoned Highway Camp
You can find the Abandoned Highway Camp on the Buried City map. It’s southeast of the Grandioso Apartments – just look for a group of buses on the highway.
When you arrive at the Abandoned Highway Camp, you’ll be prompted to find any signs of survivors.
Search for any signs of survivors
Approach one of the buses to find a pack on the ground beside it.
Interact with this pack to trigger an objective that asks you to follow red markers.
Follow the red markers
The red markers in the sand will guide you to the end of the quest, but you don’t have to follow them if you already know where to go. They can be a bit of a hassle, so we suggest checking below for the grave’s location – it’s on the far east side of the map, and that’s where you need to head to finish things up.
When you reach this area in the Buried Properties, you’ll be asked to examine the grave nearby.
Inspect the grave
Amidst the rubble of this building is the grave you need to inspect.
