To finish the “A Lay of the Land” quest in Arc Raiders, you’ll have to visit the Spaceport map. This quest requires you to find several items during one visit, so be ready for a lengthy exploration and a tough fight for survival. Here’s a guide to help you complete it.

Since you’ll be doing a lot of traveling and fighting on Spaceport during the ‘A Lay of the Land’ quest, we suggest bringing weapons you’re familiar with and packing plenty of healing supplies. Also, an augment with a safe pocket would be very helpful, as you’ll need to secure a specific item to finish the quest when you return to Speranza.

Where to find the shipping notes in the foreman’s office

First, you need to find some shipping notes in the foreman’s office at the Jiangsu Warehouse. You’ll find this warehouse on the northwestern part of the Spaceport map. It’s generally quiet, but be careful – raiders sometimes patrol the area.

Okay, so once I got inside the warehouse, I realized it wasn’t much to look at. Basically, I just needed to go upstairs to the office and grab the shipping notes – they were right there on a desk, easy to find!

Now that that’s done, the next place you’ll visit is a bit more challenging, so make sure you’re ready before you go.

Locate the scanners on the upper floor of Control Tower A6

Your second goal is to find a LiDAR Scanner on the top floor of Control Tower A6, which is in the center of the Spaceport map. This area is a hotspot for fighting, so be prepared for a potential battle when you go there.

You can get into the first room of Control Tower A6 in a couple of different ways, but for this guide, we’ll focus on entering from the front left.

When you enter the Control Tower A6 building, head directly to the door in front of you. Watch out for a turret that sometimes appears – if you see one, eliminate it. Then, open the door and take the stairs up to the next level.

When entering the next floor, take an immediate right.

Take another right to wrap around to a cubicle.

Okay, so here’s where the LiDAR Scanner is! You just need to click on it to make it drop, and then grab it – it’ll automatically go into your inventory. Easy peasy!

Finally, you need to grab the LiDAR Scanner and bring it back to Shani in Speranza to finish the quest. Head to the nearest extraction point and be careful while you make your escape. If you have an augment with a safe pocket, put the LiDAR Scanner inside just in case something goes wrong. We have faith in you, but it’s always best to be prepared, raider.
