As a gaming enthusiast, I’m super excited to share that I just got word that Apple is dropping the long-awaited AirPods Pro 3! They’ve packed in some fantastic new audio features, extended battery life, and a sleek new charging case. Mark your calendars for September 20, because these bad boys will be available for $249. Can’t wait to get my hands on them!
The latest version of AirPods Pro, referred to as the third generation, signifies the most significant change to Apple’s high-end earbuds since their debut in the Pro line in 2019. One notable feature is Adaptive Audio, which seamlessly combines Transparency and Active Noise Cancellation on the fly, adapting to a user’s surroundings for effortless transitions between quiet and noisy environments.
The latest AirPods Pro 3 are set to make their debut on Apple’s online platform and at various retailers globally from September 20th onwards.
AirPods now feature a Heart Rate sensor
As an avid Apple enthusiast, I’m thrilled about the latest update to the AirPods! Although they retain the familiar design from the past two versions, the exciting news is that this time around, they come equipped with a brand-new Heart Rate sensor.
As a gamer putting on my AirPods Pro 3, I’m amazed by their secret superpower! Instead of the usual sound waves, these bad boys are beaming invisible infrared light at an astonishing 256 times per second to measure the absorption of that light in my blood flow. This high-tech trick helps them keep tabs on my heart rate without even having to ask!

The latest version of AirPods Pro, AirPods Pro 3, are powered by an upgraded H2 chip from Apple, which enhances sound processing, spatial audio, and efficiency. According to Apple, the new acoustic driver and amplifier provide a stronger bass and clearer mid-range and high frequencies, ultimately improving overall listening experience.
The new battery life allows for 8 hours of playback per charge, an increase from 6 hours on the previous model. With the case, the total listening time can stretch up to 36 hours. The charging case now comes equipped with USB-C, features Precision Finding through the Find My app, and boasts enhanced dust resistance for added durability.
For quite some time, there have been developments behind the scenes regarding the AirPods Pro 3. The previous model of these earbuds was launched as far back as 2022. Over the years, whispers about a cutting-edge new feature have circulated, and now we finally have clarity on what this sensor entails.
