Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja have declared that the game, Rise of the Ronin, is set to launch for PC on March 11th. Originally debuting on PlayStation 5 in March 2024.
On Steam, you’ll find that the PC edition of Rise of the Ronin is priced at $50. If players buy it before April 2nd, they’ll get the same benefits as those who pre-ordered on PS5. These perks include the Hayabusa-ryu, Nioh-ryu, and Aisu Kage-ryu katana styles, along with the Hayabusa-ryu style for naginata. Moreover, they’ll get early access to Iga Ninja’s katana and armor set as an additional bonus.
The Steam edition offers enhanced capabilities, including the ability to run at 120 frames per second, adjustable keyboard and mouse settings, compatibility with both ultra-wide and super ultra-wide monitors, and support for 8K resolutions.
Titled “Rise of the Ronin,” this open-world samurai game allows players to select alliances that ultimately shape their ending. As reviewed by TopMob, we stated, “Despite a somewhat challenging learning curve for combat and some outdated concepts in its open-world setting, Rise of the Ronin effectively compensates with its immersive gameplay experience.
With regards to additional projects by Team Ninja, they recently made a significant announcement during the Xbox Developer Direct last week. Presently, they are engrossed in developing Ninja Gaiden 4, scheduled for release in Fall 2025. Additionally, they’ve secretly launched Ninja Gaiden 2 Black on Game Pass.
